Olympic by Premier Rebuilt 4pc Kit w/ Hardware in Purple Glitter

This one was saved from death burried in the scrap heap! We originally started to just put new heads on this little "junker" kit to hand off to a student, but when we realized how good it sounded, we knew we had to put a little more work in on this one...
This is a 60's era Olympic kit by Premier. The 12" tom, 14" snare, 20" bass, pedal and hihat stand are all original. These thin birch shells have beech reinforcement rings and have a great "boppy" open tone. To round out the kit, we built a matching 14" floor tom. re-wrapped the whole kit in a hip Purple Glitter, and fixed/add a few hardware appointments to turn it into a perfect light gigging kit. We even re-created the Olympic/Everplay logo bass drum head!
Kit includes:
- 20" x 12" bass drum
- 12" (11-7/8") x 8" tom
- 14 x 12" floor tom
- 14" x 5.5" snare
- Olympic Bass Pedal
- Olympic HiHat Stand
- Generic 60's snare stand
- The mounted tom is 11-7/8" head size, but only on the resonant side - We use a Gibraltar hoop on the batter side so you can install and standard 12" drumhead
- The floor tom we built is a thin 6ply birch shell with oak reinforcement rings & matches great with the tone of the rest of the kit. 14" Olympic floor tom were not available in the 60's, but we did use Olympic snare lugs so that the drum would match.
- On the bass drum, the resonant side hoop is new and we built a new ride cymbal holder rod as well. The bass spur rods are also new.
